In light of the disasters and flooded streets reported by residents of the state, the municipal government is urging the community to avoid crossing flooded areas or going out onto the streets unless necessary.
“Heavy rains are being reported in Naucalpan . Some streets have been affected by overflowing rivers,” reads the post shared by the Municipal Government on its X account, formerly Twitter.
They urge the public to have an emergency backpack on hand and to follow official instructions, while noting that emergency teams are working at various affected areas to expedite the flow.
